Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof: or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press.
The precious words of the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America, words which should be read, studied and of course protected every single day.
No law Congress. No law respecting, that is establishing any kind of religion, and no law, Congress, prohibiting:
THE FREE EXERCISE THEREOF
Our CHRISTIAN President has floated trial balloons in order to indicate, in his learned, Constitutional opinion that the exercise of religion should be, according to the real definition of the Constitution, confined to the four walls of a church. That is, worship and worship only. It should, says Obama and company, not have any Constitutional rights or protections in the public square. Religion should not operate or exercise in public, but only in private, in churches, in homes, but out of the way of the public. But that’s just Obama, and not just the Constitution. The free exercise of religion is anywhere and everywhere, Mr. Obama. And we the people will protect and defend those rights at any cost. We are ready for the battle, Mr. President, ready indeed.
The CENTER FOR THE AMERICAN FUTURE has this to say:
MAKE NO MISTAKE: BARACK OBAMA IS COMMITTED TO AN ALL-OUT CHRISTIAN ASSAULT IN OUR SCHOOLS, OUR CHURCHES, OUR MILITARY, OUR GOVERNMENT AND OUR COURTS IN HIS LAST TWO YEARS IN OFFICE.
Millions of Americans believe the same. There is little press to that effect because our press, our media is so deeply-rooted liberal. Obama can say and get away with virtually anything he wants.
But we the people with short memories should also remember the following statement from Barack Hussein Obama:
REMEMBER THAT DURING THE CRUSADES AND THE INQUISITION, PEOPLE COMMITTED TERRIBLE DEEDS IN THE NAME OF CHRIST. IN OUR HOME COUNTRY, SLAVERY AND JIM CROW ALL TOO OFTEN WAS JUSTIFIED IN THE NAME OF CHRIST.
Hey, Christians! Don’t forget when you look at fanatic, brutal, barbaric jihadist Islam at work that Christians slaughtered and killed in the name of Christ. Sounds as though this President wants a payback for the ancient history acts of so-called Christians, rather than honestly dealing with the militant, jihadist side of Islam, does it not? One should be able to see clearly exactly what Obama is and what he believes. We should also be well aware that his very philosophy permeates the agencies of our federal government, including and especially the Justice Department which does absolutely nothing to defend religious liberty, the IRS, the EPA, OSHA, the Department of Education just to name some. In this man’s Administration, it is not a good time to be a Christian, a real one, or a conservative, a real one.
Without protest or comment from the Obama Administration, entities like the American Civil Liberties Unions (ACLU) are now attempting to eradicate many monuments and memorials to veterans which have religious imagery. No matter that these monuments and memorials have existed for years, decades, even centuries, if there is any sign of hint of religion, they should be eradicated. Even the supposed conservative State of Oklahoma through its Supreme Court shockingly ordered a TEN COMMANDMENTS MONUMENT torn down. Get God, the ACLU is saying, out of country, out altogether.
And then comes the United States military, our very own armed forces. Politics and all which is politically correct now dominate the United States military. Chaplains are now under attack. Soldiers are punished for openly carrying Bibles. Some have been court-martialed because of their aggressive testimony of faith in Jesus Christ. And then there is the case of Navy Chaplain Wes Modder. Efforts were made to have this good man court-martialed because of the heinous sin he committed which was, as chaplain mind you:
COUNSELING NAVY MEN FROM THE BIBLE!
The duty of a Christian chaplain is to do just that, counsel from the Bible. But this strong Christian man is about to be court-martialed for standing for the Jesus Christ of the Bible and so witnessing. So much for religious liberty in the military.
And then there was a marine, female no less, who was court-martialed for taping a Bible verse to her computer screen. Can you believe that? Her very own computer, her very own Bible and a verse special to her, private for her computer but visible enough for somebody else to see and our military, influenced by our Christian President who appoints military leaders would have this goodfemale marine court-martialed. So much for the First Amendment in the military. Thank you, Mr. President, thank you for the changeyou promised us.
And the Fox Network, you know that one which is supposed to be conservative? Fox Sports fired Craig James, former pro football player turned sports commentator for actually publicly saying that he believed in traditional marriage between one man and one woman. FIRED FOR THAT! At Fox no less! James dared to be a person of faith and it cost him his job but it brought an aggressive lawsuit to Fox and Fox Sports, you know that conservative network?
And then there was an 18 year old young lady graduating from high school who wanted to pray in her graduation address, only to be told that prayer, public prayer was not allowed at graduation. In fact, the admonition went further and reminded the student among others that all things GOD should be omitted in public at graduation. So much for religious liberty in some schools. Some schools have even banned the reading of the Bible during free time for students. Others have banned religious clubs of students meeting, Bible reading and praying on their own time. I often wonder sometimes how these anti-religionists, specifically anti-Christian leaders ever got elected or were put in a position of power. Has that happened to schools in your home district or perhaps even the very one your children attend? By the way, it is not a good thing for public officials to pray before their meetings, a long standing tradition in so many places. Apparently, to these secular fanatics, the right to pray is not covered by the First Amendment.
And yet another court of law (?) labeled religious liberty as:
UNLAWFUL DISCRIMINATION
Can you believe that? Discrimination. Faith-based businesses have been forced to close, unable to bear the cost of litigation to defend their rights. Military chaplains have been relieved of their duty in the armed forces because of their faith. Some employees have been fired because they are Christian. Under the Johnson Amendment, sermons and public utterances of pastors can be monitored for political content and the church threatened or fined and that’s only the beginning, ONLY THE BEGINNING! As the early revolutionist Thomas Paine so well said in the dark days of the revolution:
THESE ARE THE TIMES THAT TRY MEN’S SOULS
In Umpqua and at Umpqua Community College in Oregon, students were slaughtered, gunned down. But the press conveniently omitted the fact that those who were killed were Christian. According to witnesses to the event, the gunman asked his victims what their religion was. If they responded that they were Christian, he shot them in the head. If they did not answer, he shot them in the leg. Can you believe that? Young martyrs for the faith at the hands of an insane gunman. Of course, those details were never discussed by our CHRISTIAN PRESIDENT. For Obama, the Umpqua shootings were simply another opportunity to advance his political agenda against the Second Amendment and his own personal agenda to restrict gun ownership. What a man. But you know by now that anything Christian is under attack by the Obama Administration, directly or indirectly.

There were interesting comments from Governor Jerry Brown as he signed the bill:
I WAS LEFT TO REFLECT ON WHAT I WOULD WANT IN THE FACE OF MY OWN DEATH. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO IF I WERE DYING IN PROLONGED AND EXCRUCIATING PAIN. I AM CERTAIN, HOWEVER, THAT IT WOULD BE A COMFORT TO BE ABLE TO CONSIDER THE OPTIONS AFFORDED BY THIS BILL. AND I WOULD NOT DENY THAT RIGHT TO OTHERS.
Christians, including and especially the Roman Catholic Church, protested and lobbied against the bill driven by far-left philosophy to no avail. But in this CULTURE OF DEATH in which we live, whether a total disregard for human life in the womb (abortion) or at the very end of life in need, life at either extreme in this culture of death seems to mean little. What a tragedy indeed for America, moral America, CHRISTIAN AMERICA.
And then there is COMMON CORE in education. The federal government seeks to control educational curricula everywhere and in every school. Common Core will eviscerate so much of traditional American history and excise anything religious, especially Christian from any course in education. That indoctrination, so many describe as anti-American and certainly anti-Christian, will infect our children, the future generation of our country and radically change it. I recall the words of Vladimir Lenin, the radical Russian leader who said:
GIVE ME FOUR YEARS TO TEACH THE CHILDREN AND THE SEED I HAVE SOWN WILL NEVER BE UPROOTED.
Or the words of Adolf Hitler who said:
LET ME CONTROL THE TEXTBOOKS AND I WILL CONTROL THE STATE.
Radical, godless control of the young and the state is yours, so believed the Obama Administration, our Department of Education and Common Core. Anti-Christian, anti-Christian liberty and more to come. The battle is on my fellow Americans, people of faith and my fellow Christians:

Sunday, October 4, 2015 was a day set aside known as:
THE DAY OF PRAYER FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM
No city in the world represents religion, all things religious more so than Jerusalem of old. The history of this great city goes back 3,000 years. It is Jewish to the core, the City of David but no city, because of Israel offers more religious freedom, RELIGIOUS LIBERTY than Jerusalem does. Practice what you believe, EXERCISE religion as you see fit without consequences or compromise. Perhaps, one could say, that would even be more so in Jerusalem-Israel than now in some places in our very own America. To pray for the peace of Jerusalem is to pray for religious liberty everywhere. Judaism is alive and well in Israel, essential it seems to Israel itself, but shockingly, recent surveys have shown that more than one in five American Jews now say:
THEY HAVE NO RELIGION!
How tragic is that. How I wonder can one be a Jew, a real Jew and have no religion? Those Jews have absolutely no interest inEXERCISING RELIGION. I find that shocking and so disappointing.
Back to education on college campuses. Eastern Michigan University graduate student Julia Ward was expelled from her university’s counseling program because her Christian convictions would not allow her to affirm same-sex relationships. Then there was Dr. Mike Adams, a rising star on the faculty of the University of North Carolina-Wilmington. Adams wrote a column expressing conservative and Christian views. His colleagues (?) began a campaign of academic persecution which resulted in Adams being denied a promotion, and the university having a major lawsuit as a result. A professor at LOS ANGELES COMMUNITY COLLEGE called student Jonathan Lopez a fascist in front of other students because Lopez quoted two Bible verses and shared the Biblical view of marriage during a class speaking assignment. This fair and objective professor told Lopez to ask God what his grade would be as a result of his Christian courage. Even Christian colleges are no longer safe. Such colleges expect to be challenged on their policies with respect to housing, admissions and hiring, because they are Christian, people of faith, exercising religious liberty! These are the times that try men’s souls, my fellow Christians and they have only just begun. Religious liberty, THE EXERCISE THEREOF and so much of our beloved First Amendment are under the most brutal attack ever. I am ready for the fight and I pray you are as well.
In the Supreme Court decision which invented the new Constitutional right to gay marriage which further struck a blow at THE FREE EXERCISE OF RELIGION and Christian beliefs, Chief Justice John Roberts opined the following:
TODAY’S DECISION CREATES SERIOUS QUESTIONS ABOUT RELIGIOUS LIBERTY. MANY GOOD AND DECENT PEOPLE OPPOSE SAME-SEX MARRIAGE AS A TENET OF FAITH, AND THEIR FREEDOM TO EXERCISE RELIGION IS, UNLIKE THE RIGHT IMAGINED BY THE MAJORITY, ACTUALLY SPELLED OUT IN THE CONSTITUTION.
But the Supreme Court goes merrily and liberally on its way to not only create new rights but attack religious liberty. The cultural world of America changes because of the votes of five justices. Roberts went on to say:
UNFORTUNATELY, PEOPLE OF FAITH CAN TAKE NO COMFORT IN THE TREATMENT THEY RECEIVE FROM THE MAJORITY TODAY (GAY MARRIAGE DECISION).
What a day and age for America and for people of faith. In 2008, Barack Hussein Obama promised change, RADICAL CHANGE for our country, Obama change. This radical-leftist President has surely delivered on that promise. Tragically for America, thisdeconstructionist President has yet remaining some 15 months to do even further damage to our great country. If you are a person of faith and especially Christian, or you are a true Constitutionalist and believer in the First Amendment, you have no choice but to:
STAND UP
And do so aggressively, passionately and fully and completely, and with liberty for all:
EXERCISE YOUR RELIGION
In the public square and everywhere and defend this right. Do it now or lose it now. The more government controls, the harder it will be to restore and CHANGE BACK. Fight the fight of faith, my fellow Americans. Fight the fight of the free exercise of religion. Fight the fight of religious liberty as a person of faith and a faithful American.
